Crossing Heights at Kitengela Glass Bridge

Image
Some places are less about luxury and more about the feeling they leave behind. Visiting the Kitengela Glass Bridge turned out to be one of those experiences. The bridge stretches high above the landscape, suspended between rocky edges and open views. With every step, the wire mesh beneath your feet reminds you just how high up you are. It shakes slightly with movement, enough to keep the adrenaline alive, but not enough to stop you from enjoying the moment. At first, there’s hesitation. You hold the rails tighter, move slower, and glance down more than you should. But halfway through, fear slowly gives way to excitement. The wind feels lighter, the views wider, and for a moment, everything else fades into the background. Beyond the bridge, another part of the visit that stood out was the glass art and workshop area. We explored their shop filled with different handmade glass pieces, from decorative items and mirrors to creative designs shaped from recycled glass. Every pie...

Naivasha 2026: A Safari Rally Experience

Image
On the Safari Rally Kenya 2026 edition in Naivasha, I had the chance to experience one of the most exciting motorsport events in Kenya. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was full of energy. You could hear the engines from a distance, and as the rally cars passed, everything around filled with dust, sound, and excitement. It felt intense, loud, and thrilling all at once. I already knew the drivers were skilled, but seeing them in action made me realize it on a whole different level. Watching them handle the rough terrain, sharp corners, and unpredictable tracks felt even more impressive in real life than I had imagined. The speed, control, and confidence they had on such challenging roads made the experience unforgettable. It wasn’t just about knowing they are good,it was about actually seeing that skill come alive right in front of me. The crowd also added to the experience. People gathered everywhere, cheering, taking photos, and enjoying the moment together. More t...

My Experience at the Museum of Illusions

Image
On 14th March 2026 , I walked into the Museum of Illusions not really knowing what to expect. I had seen a few pictures online, but experiencing it in real life is something else entirely. The first thing you notice is how quickly your brain starts getting confused. Nothing feels stable. Floors don’t feel flat, rooms don’t look normal, and your eyes keep doubting what they’re seeing. It’s funny because you know it’s an illusion, but your mind still reacts like it’s real. Some sections made me stop for a moment just to figure out what was going on. You try to focus, but the more you look, the less sense it makes. That’s the interesting part,it challenges how you normally see things. There are also areas designed for photos, and they turn out way more creative than expected. A simple pose can look completely different depending on the illusion behind you. It’s the kind of place where every picture feels a bit unreal in a fun way. What stayed with me after leaving is how eas...

Inside the Calm of the Nairobi Art Gallery

Image
On 14th November 2025 , I visited the Nairobi Art Gallery. The place feels very calm and peaceful the moment you step inside, as if everything outside the city slows down. The gallery is filled with beautiful artworks displayed on the walls. Each piece tells its own story in a different way. Some paintings are bold and colorful, while others are soft, and quiet. It is interesting how art can express so much without using any words. As you walk through the space, there is a sense of stillness. You don’t just look at the art,you start to feel it. Every corner invites you to pause, reflect, and think about what the artist might have been trying to express. One thing that stands out is how creative expression connects with emotion. A single artwork can communicate culture, history, joy, or even struggle. It reminds me how powerful human creativity can be when put into visual form . The atmosphere inside the gallery remains calm throughout. It is the kind of place where you nat...

How Nature Improves Mental Health

Image
Sometimes life becomes too loud. There’s always something happening: classes, work, social media, pressure, expectations , and endless thoughts running through the mind. In the middle of all that, nature has a way of slowing everything down. There’s something peaceful about being outside. It could be watching the sunset, listening to rain hit the roof, feeling the morning breeze , or taking a quiet walk surrounded by trees. Those simple moments can calm the mind more than we realize. Nature helps people breathe a little easier . When the mind feels overwhelmed, spending time outdoors can reduce stress and clear thoughts. Even a short walk can change your mood. The fresh air, natural light, and quiet environment make the mind feel lighter. One thing I love about nature is how it doesn’t force anything. Trees grow quietly. Rivers keep flowing . Birds sing without trying to impress anyone. Being around that kind of peace reminds us that not everything in life has to move so fa...

A day at the National Museum of Kenya

Image
On 10th April 2026, I visited the National Museum of Kenya, and it turned out to be one of the most interesting experiences I’ve had. One of the most unforgettable moments was seeing a snake up close. I actually got the chance to have a snake gently placed around my neck. At first, I was nervous, but I was also curious. It felt strange but exciting at the same time, and it made me realize how fascinating wildlife can be when you experience it directly. I also visited the aquarium section, where I saw different types of fish and aquatic life. The calm movement of the water and the beauty of the fish created a peaceful atmosphere. It was quite different from the rest of the museum, but equally interesting. Walking through the museum itself was like going through a journey of Kenya’s history and nature. From cultural exhibits to natural history displays, everything was well organized and informative. What I enjoyed most was how the museum combines educa...
